Bangalore-based IIHT opens centre in Kozhikode

Aimed at imparting computer education in industry-oriented courses, Bangalore-based Indian Institute of Hardware Technology will open its Centre here on October 26.

KOZHIKODE: Aimed at imparting computer education in industry-oriented courses, Bangalore-based Indian Institute of Hardware Technology will open its Centre here on October 26.

"With a steady rise in the number of MNCs entering the country, IIHT is providing a variety of courses to meet the demand for skilled hardware and networking professionals," IIHT Regional Manager (Kerala), C V Kutty told reporters here today.

With over 200 centres across the country and abroad, IIHT was imparting intense training in hardware and networking to prepare students for placements in leading MNCs, he said, adding it was operating 11 other centres in the state.

Stating that an estimated 10 lakh jobs would be in offer in hardware networking in the next five years,Kutty said IIHT offered a variety of computer courses with international certification.

IBM global serives, Microsoft, Hutch Telecom, Oracle, Comptia, Novel, Cisco, Sun Solarisis and Accenture were some of the employers with which the institute had affiliation, he said.
