Apple to start selling iPad Mini for Rs 21,900 in India

Apple shares may have suffered their steepest decline in four years on Wednesday, but the US tech giant seems to have finally woken up to India.


Less than a week after launching its music store iTunes in the country, Apple will start selling its much anticipated iPad Mini, the new iPad and Apple TV in the country on Friday.

Apple TV, a set-top box that can play purchased or rented content streamed from the internet on TV, complements iTunes.

iPad Mini and fourth generation iPad join fifth generation iPod Touch and fifth generation iPhone to complete Apple’s portable device line-up in India.
