Apple to launch iPhone 5C, 5S in India on November 1
The India price of iPhone 5C is expected to be around Rs 40,000 while the price of iPhone 5S could be slightly above Rs 50,000.

Apple has timed the release of iPhones in India before Diwali, which is on November 3. Apple products have previously hit the Indian markets in the last fortnight of November or the the first fortnight of December.
The iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c will hit retailers in 25 countries, including Italy, Russia and Spain, from October 25, it said. A contractfree and unlocked 16GB version of the iPhone 5c is available for $549 (about Rs 34,700) in the US; an unlocked and contract-free iPhone 5s costs $649 (Rs 41,000) in the US.
New iPad on Oct 22: Apple will update its lineup of iPads at an October 22 event, a person with knowledge of the plans said, as the company works to remain ahead of rivals in the increasingly crowded tablet market. The Cupertino, California-based company will unveil a new version of the original 9.7-inch iPad as well as the smaller iPad mini, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the plans haven’t been made official. Apple also will show its new Mac personal-computer operating system, called Mavericks, and Mac Pro PC, the person said. The event, scheduled for a month after Apple debuted two new iPhone models, will feature changes to the bigger iPad that include a thinner design, people familiar with the plans said in August. A new iPad mini will sport the highdefinition screen, the people said.
