Apple iPhone Xs vs iPhone X: Here's what is different

Both have the same 5.8 inch Super Retina HD display, 12 MP rear camera and a 7 MP front camera.

iPhone XS, XS Max: First Impression
Apple yesterday announced three new phones - the iPhone Xs, XS Max, and XR. While the iPhone XS, priced at Rs 99K, and the iPhone XS Max costing Rs 109,900, respectively, will be available in India before the Navratras begin, the wait for the iPhone XR will be slightly longer. Priced at Rs 76,900, it will be shipping in mid-October.

So what's the difference between the new iPhone Xs and last year's iPhone X? Let's have a look.

The new iPhone comes with A12 Bionic chip against the A11 chip of iPhone X. As per the Cupertino-based company, the chip has "next-generation Neural Engine".

The new Apple phone has water resistance of up to 2 meters for up to 30 minutes. The iPhone X is water resistant of up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.

The iPhone Xs has been introduced in a 512 GB storage model as well. The iPhone X is available only in 64 GB and 256 GB models.

The iPhone Xs has the same dimensions as the older phone but is 3 grams heavier with weight of 177 grams. This is probably due to the bigger battery which, Apple claims, offer 30 minutes longer back up than iPhone X.

The biggest change comes in SIM department. The iPhone Xs has two SIM slots (in some countries, one slot will come with a eSIM).

Other than these, the iPhone Xs has nothing extra over iPhone X. Both have the same 5.8 inch Super Retina HD display, 12 MP rear camera and a 7 MP front camera.
