Agentic artificial intelligence (AI) fund Wyser Capital announced the first close of Rs 50 crore for its maiden fund. The fund, founded by Suresh Vaswani, Supria Dhanda and Satyakam Mohanty, plans to raise a total of Rs 200 crore in the next 18-24 months.

The fund comprises fresh funding of Rs 120 crore and Rs 80 crore will be the green shoe option. It will invest Rs 2-5 crore per startup, with follow-on capital for select portfolio companies.

The fundraising comes at a time when the country is seeing a wave of AI-focused venture capital funds amid the AI wave. Other funds that have come up in recent years include Activate, SenseAI and Boundless Ventures, which have pivoted to AI from pure-play software-as-a-service such as Upekkha and Together Fund.

Dhanda told ET that the company had already closed two investments in the warehouse segment. It will focus on startups operating across vertical AI, tooling and infrastructure, and enterprise-focused physical AI in areas such as healthcare, retail and ecommerce, supply chain and logistics, he said.
