Together Fund, set up by Freshworks founder Girish Mathrubootham and Eka Software founder Manav Garg, has launched a programme to support startups in the artificial intelligence (AI) space.

Together AI Studio, Garg announced in a LinkedIn post, will back AI-first founders to go from idea to product-market fit with funding of up to $1 million and a structured 12-week programme with a US immersion.

"We are looking for ambitious builders, technologists, and domain experts who are reimagining industries with AI-first approaches. Whether you are working on AI-powered B2B applications, AI in healthcare, security, automation, or even frontier areas like quantum AI, brain-computer interfaces, and AI for defense – we want to hear from you," Garg said, attaching a link for startups to apply.

This is in line with the fund's commitment to double down on startups working in the AI segment. ET reported on Monday that Together Fund is expecting to close its $150-million Fund-II, looking to back 19-20 startups in this space.

“Globally, AI software companies are reaching $100 million in revenue in two years. That’s possible. What we look at is whether there’s a high user adoption and stickiness or high revenue growth potential. There will be hype in the market, but we have to focus on these metrics,” Garg told ET.

AI companies in Together Fund’s portfolio include design copilot platform Thesys, Metaforms, which builds AI agents for market research, Composio, which integrates AI agents with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI gaming platform Chaotix.
