Sachin Tendulkar invests $2 million in JetSynthesys

Pune: Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has invested $2 million in JetSynthesys, thus strengthening his existing relationship with the digital entertainment and technology company.

Tendulkar and JetSynthesys have a joint venture called 100MB, which is a digital destination for all things cricket and immersive cricket games such as Sachin Saga Cricket Champions and Sachin Saga VR.

“With this investment, we are excited to see Sachin become an even more crucial member of the JetSynthesys family,” Vice President and Managing Director Rajan Navani said.


“Sachin’s long standing support is a testament of his faith in our vision and together we hope to enrich more lives across the country, and in the process, make JetSynthesys an even stronger name in India’s digital ecosystem,”

Tendulkar joins the likes of former Infosys chairman Kris (S) Gopalakrishnan and Serum Institute of India’s Adar Poonawalla as a JetSynthesys investor. The family offices of the promoters of Thermax Ltd., Triveni Group, Yohan Poonawalla Group and DSP Group have also backed the company.

“My association with JetSynthesys goes back almost five years now. We started our journey with Sachin Saga Cricket Champions and strengthened it with a VR cricket experience. It is one of the most popular games in its category with over 20 million downloads…,” Tendulkar said.

JetSynthesys, which has presence across gaming and digital entertainment, is also the biggest skill-based cricket gaming franchise in the world with more than 120 million downloads and 12 million monthly active users.
