Scrubsy, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) home cleaning brand operated by BoldChem Science Pvt. Ltd., has raised Rs 27 crore (around $3 million) from V3 Ventures.

Scrubsy claims it develops its products through in-house research, formulation and manufacturing. Its portfolio includes foam-based kitchen cleaners, bathroom cleaners and shoe-cleaning products.

Founded in 2025 by Kartik Sibal, Ishan Suri, Nitin Jain and Aditya Bhasin, the Gurugram-based startup develops and sells home-cleaning products across the kitchen, bathroom and footwear-care categories.

The company said the fresh capital will primarily support manufacturing expansion and continued business growth.

“Unlike many D2C brands moving toward contract manufacturing, we believe in keeping manufacturing in-house. It creates stronger R&D capabilities, protects product differentiation, and gives us better control over quality,” said cofounder Sibal, who is also CEO of Scrubsy.

The company said it uses artificial intelligence to analyse customer reviews, identify cleaning-related pain points and incorporate customer feedback into product development.

"What stood out for us was the team's execution. Scrubsy reached meaningful scale in a category dominated by legacy FMCG players while remaining bootstrapped, which is rare, " said Arjun Vaidya, Cofounder, V3 Ventures. “Their performance-first positioning, combined with strong product quality and in-house manufacturing, gives them the potential to build a category-defining home-care brand.”

V3 Ventures is an early-stage consumer-focused investment firm backed by Verlinvest. Its India portfolio includes Ugaoo, Deconstruct, Salad Days, go zero, and The Hosteller.
