Ex-Nexus executive Komal Solanki launches 10-minute beauty service platform Dazzl, raises $3 million from Stellaris
Komal Solanki, a former Nexus Venture Partners executive, has unveiled Dazzl, a beauty service app designed to provide salon and spa treatments for women in just 10 minutes. With a recent $3 million investment from Stellaris Venture Partners, Dazz...

Filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC) indicate the company has also raised $3 million from early-stage investor Stellaris Venture Partners.
Founded in October, Dazzl offers salon and spa services for women in 10 minutes. The services include waxing, threading, facials, manicures, pedicures and cleanups.
In the on-demand beauty segment, Dazzl will compete with the recently listed Urban Company’s salon service and Shark Tank fame Yes Madam. However, neither Urban Company nor Yes Madam provide beauty and salon services in 10 minutes.
According to Dazzl’s website, it is hiring beauticians in Bengaluru. The service is currently active in select areas in Bengaluru, including Bellandur, HSR layout, and Koramangala. The platform is offering a salary ranging between Rs 30,000 and Rs 50,000 per month to beauticians, depending on their experience and skills.
Solanki and Stellaris did not respond to ET’s queries at the time of publication of this story.
Dazzl’s entry comes as other contenders in the quick service segment aggressively expand their services by raising funds. Both Pronto and Snabbit, which provide home services, have recently raised funds. While these startups are currently focused on househelp services such as cleaning and cooking prep, they have plans to add more services as they mature.
ET reported on Thursday that Pronto is in advanced discussions to raise $25 million in equity funding from Epiq Capital, Glade Brook Capital, General Catalyst and Bain Capital. The round is being negotiated at a valuation of around $100 million. Two months ago, rival Snabbit announced a $30 million funding round led by Bertelsmann India Investments (BII).
