ETtech Deals Digest: Startups raise $172 million this week, up 39% on-year
Despite the higher value, the number of deals during the week was down at 24 transactions, compared with 46 in the corresponding week last year.

Startups raised around $172.5 million between November 8 and 14, a 39.4% increase from the $123.8 million raised during the same period last year.
The tally was, however, 42% lower than the $297.5 million raised in the previous week.
The number of deals dropped sharply on a year-on-year (YoY) basis, with 24 transactions recorded this week compared with 46 a year earlier.

Attentive.ai: Software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup Attentive.ai has raised $30.5 million (around Rs 270 crore) in a funding round led by Insight Partners, with participation from Vertex Ventures, Tenacity Ventures, and Info Edge Ventures.
Finnable:Digital lending startup Finnable raised around Rs 250 crore in a funding round led by Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners) and TVS Capital. This is the company’s second tranche, with the first Rs 250 crore being infused by the same investors back in November 2024.
Varaha: Climate tech startup Varaha raised $30 million in a funding round led by climate-focussed investment firm, Mirova.
