Edtech startup Avishkaar gets Rs 5 crore funding from Auxano, others
Edtech startup Avishkaar, which clocked five times growth in 2020-21, focuses on robotics, artificial intelligence, coding, and app development for children between ages 5 and 15.

The funds would be earmarked for product development, expansion and hiring talent.

"Avishkaar's approach is one of a platform that comprises hardware kits, software solutions and Live online classes to ensure that children have the right tools, curriculum, coaching and environment to excel at these skills," said Arun Bhalla, co-founder and chief executive officer, Avishkaar.
The company, before the pandemic, was working with more than 1,500 schools and over 100,000 students. In 2017, it started setting up Atal Tinkering Labs envisioned by the NITI Aayog. The company has set up over 1,000 of such labs across the country.
