DusMinute, a startup offering supermarket, pharmacy and home services to residents of gated communities, has raised $1.1 million in pre-Series A funding led by Indian Angel Network (IAN) along with participation from a few high net-worth individuals.

Founded in 2017, the Bengaluru based startup sets up in-society stores allowing residents to walk in and buy products, or order them through its app and get them delivered home in a few minutes. It also offers home services such as plumbers and electricians among others.

Currently, the company operates in 19 gated communities built by Brigade, Prestige, Sobha, Provident, SNN, Shriram, and Godrej in Bengaluru that have around 36,000 homes.

"We are developing a sustainable ecosystem and reducing carbon footprint by serving hyperlocally. The funding will allow us to expand to over 80,000 households and also to deepen our integrated service offering,” said Apoorva Mishra, CEO of DusMinute.
