Mumbai: Co-working and flexible office space provider, Inspire Co-Spaces, raised $4 million in seed funding from angel investor Ashish Chandna. The funds will be utilised to support the startup’s expansion and future plans.

Inspire Co-Spaces has office spaces in Mumbai Metropolitan Region’s key micro markets of Andheri, Goregaon, Navi Mumbai and Thane. The company is now set to step up its business with the funds availed from this exercise.

“I believe Inspire Co-Spaces’ model will completely disrupt the way occupiers look at office space in the future,” Chandna said. The startup is looking to use Chandna's mentoring and investment to acquire 10,000 seats across India by the end of 2021.

“Ashish has several Investments in various startups and has a high ratio of converting a startup into a full-grown business. We at Inspire are elated to have him as our angel investor and on the board of directors,” said Amit Sathe, founder and chief executive officer of Inspire Co-Spaces.

According to Sathe, the company’s focus at present is on its pan-India expansion plan for 2021, before exploring international markets in 2022. Prior to this venture, Sathe had handled assignments for Kanakia Group, Phoenix Market City, and Damac Properties.
