The company aims to utilise the funds for the global deployment of its predictive AI systems for fleet maintenance and management. The company claims its tool Inroute can warn fleet owners of upcoming vehicle failures along with the exact causes about a month in advance, with close to 95% accuracy.
“We are building a physics-based foundational AI architecture that interprets real-world physical systems, learns as conditions evolve, and delivers foresight,” said cofounder and chief executive Anup Patil.
Intangles is already present in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, and manages over 400,000 vehicles across segments like long haul, transit, construction, mining, and more.
“This investment strengthens our ability to expand across geographies and industries that are grappling with increasing volatility and complexity,” Patil said.
Intangles was founded in 2016 by Patil, Aman Singh, Jayshri Patil, and Neil Unadkat. According to the company, its platform, which uses proprietary datasets, has enabled vehicle owners to see a 50% increase in their profitability, and a 5X jump on their per truck ROI.
Intangles says its clients include original equipment manufacturers (OEM) as well as enterprise fleets, and it has helped save maintenance costs of up to $10,000 annually per vehicle.
“This is a global issue, and we have not seen any other players crack this problem the way we have, which is reflected in the quality of the clients we see in geographies such as north America and Europe,” said Anirudh Singh, partner at Avataar Venture Partners.
