AI startup Olto raises $5.1 million from Nexus Venture Partners, The General Partnership

Olto, an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered demo automation platform, has raised $5.1 million in a funding round co-led by Nexus Venture Partners and The General Partnership. Additional investors include Afore Capital, Recall Capital, Ligature, FirstHand, and senior executives from companies like Amazon.

The San Francisco-based B2B startup, founded in 2023 by former Amazon executives Kintan Brahmbhatt and Jean-Baptiste Caput, positions itself as an AI demo engineer.

The business-to-business (B2B) company operates as an AI demo engineer, which works across sectors such as sales and marketing, healthcare tech, and financial services, among others. The AI-driven personalisation will automate and create product demos for companies based on their requirements. The company believes that their AI demo engineer would reduce dependency on traditional manual product demos.


The company says it will use the capital to build new AI agents and scale its operations. “We’re building new AI agents for inbound leads and outbound calls, while investing in R&D to customise experiences based on each client’s needs,” Brahmbhatt, Olto’s CEO, told ET. He previously co-founded Amazon Music and led its product team.

Olto currently serves clients in the US, UK, and Canada and plans to expand into India.
