Brazil's Casa dos Ventos inks $500 million deal to supply power to Ascenty data centres
Brazilian firm Casa dos Ventos and Ascenty will partner in two new renewable energy projects. These projects will supply power to Ascenty's data centres in Brazil. The agreement is valued at over 500 million dollars. Power supply will begin in 2027.

Under the agreement, Ascenty - controlled by Brookfield and Digital Realty - will become a partner in two new renewable energy projects being developed by Casa dos Ventos, one wind and one solar.
The agreement was valued at more than $500 million. Ascenty will be supplied with 110 average megawatts once the projects become operational in 2027. The deal will back Casa dos Ventos's development of the Dom Inocencio wind farm in Piaui state and the Paraiso solar project in Mato Grosso do Sul, which require estimated investments of 7.5 billion reais ($1.40 billion). Their combined capacity will exceed 1.5 gigawatts.
