TotalEnergies launches three-year AI development programme with Mistral

The ⁠three-year joint programme ​represents an investment ​of more than €100 million ($115 million) ‌to support geoscience expertise ​in ​developing ⁠exploration opportunities, TotalEnergies said.

French oil major TotalEnergies said on Tuesday it had ‌partnered ⁠with ⁠artificial intelligence company Mistral to develop AI models for oil ⁠and gas reservoir ‌exploration and engineering.

The ⁠three-year joint programme ​represents an investment ​of more than €100 million ($115 million) ‌to support geoscience expertise ​in ​developing ⁠exploration opportunities, TotalEnergies said.
