Last month, I was creating a deck for a client session and asked an AI tool to show “a team brainstorming ideas.” What I got looked like a toothpaste ad -- bright smiles, sterile walls and people pointing vaguely at a spotless whiteboard. Nothing wrong with the picture -- it was just lifeless. That’s the thing about most AI visuals -- they’re technically flawless and emotionally vacant.

The human eye can spot “AI-made” not because of missing pixels, but because of missing presence. Over time, I’ve realised that getting AI to make human-feeling images is all about having an imagination and turning it into smart prompts. While the imagination part is free flowing – for the prompting bit, I use what I call the CIPER loop – five small shifts that make a big difference:
