Zoojoo.be raises $1 million from US-based RoundGlass Partners
BENGALURU: Health start-up Zoojoo.be today said it has raised $ one million (Rs 6.4 crore) from US-based venture capital fund RoundGlass Partners.

Incubated at the NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) at IIM Bangalore, zoojoo.be builds Web and mobile-based apps that use gamification and social collaboration to help users form healthy habits.

The investment will primarily be used for product enhancements, it said in a statement.

The platform claims to have over 35,000 users across clients like Mindtree, Unisys and GE and has operations in India and the UAE.

It allows employees of its companies to use the platform to form habits related to healthy eating, fitness, mindfulness and work-life balance.

"Our mission is to measurably and quantifiably improve the well-being and happiness level of the workforce. We want to achieve our goal by helping our users create long-term positive behaviour change by forming great habits," zoojoo.be co-founder and CEO Avinash Saurabh said.
