Zerodha launches free online initiative to skill people in stock trading

BENGALURU: Zerodha, an online brokerage firm, has launched a free online initiative to skill people in stock trading.

“We have put up education content and have zero barriers, not just financial barrier, you do not even need to login. You can just go and start reading,” said Karthik Rangappa, VP of equity research and education services at Zerodha.

The content written by Rangappa, and Nithin Kamath, CEO of Zerodha, covers ten topics ranging from introduction to stock markets, technical analysis, Fundamental analysis, futures trading, options theory for professional trading, option strategies, markets and taxation, among others.

“Each module has close to 15-20 chapters, so it is as good as reading abook,” said Rangappa. The company plans to soon release the content in Hindi and Gujarati and then in Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam.
