Zaikenn Management invests undisclosed amount in OyePlay

MUMBAI: Zaikenn Management Services has invested an undisclosed amount in Bangalore based OyePlay, a playground and sports trainer aggregator. The investment was facilitated by the startup marketplace, Brand Accelerator.

According to Sudhakar Balakrishnan, partner at Zaikenn Management Services, the sports ecosystem in India is still in the infant stages, giving OyePlay’s business model the opportunity to disrupt the sports market by becoming a connecting link between sports enthusiasts and sports infrastructure providers.

"Our services are not restricted to online slot bookings alone, we have a local sports news feature which enables the organizers to market their facilities as well as any events or tournaments to our large player database," said Amar Pal Singh, co founder of OyePlay, "

OyePlay is an online playground and sports trainer aggregator that connects the user with the coach or play ground coordinator enabling them to do a booking within a few clicks.

Founded in July 2015, OyePlay is the brainchild of IIT Guwahati alumnus Hitesh Jain and sports enthusiast, Amal Pal Singh.
