Udaipur to witness start-up fest

AHMEDABAD: Udaipur to witness start-ups event where founders, mentors and investors are joining hands to support entrepreneurship in the city.

The Fest to be held on 6th February, 2016 will see more than 100 startups, 10 to 15 angel and venture capital investors, 30 mentors and start-up coaches and 20 speakers come together on one platform .

"We believe that it’s very important to activate start-ups ecosystem at the local level as the national start-ups revolution will only gain momentum when tier - 2 and tier 3 cities become a part of the bigger ecosystem” said Dilnawaz Khan, Manager - Business Development, Startup Oasis (A Joint Venture of RIICO and CIIE @ IIM - A).

He further said that the objective behind Udaipur Startup Fest is to channelize, activate and build local start-ups ecosystem in Udaipur.

The main event would have pitches by new start-ups batch of Startup Oasis, panel discussion on start-ups funding, pitches from top start-ups in Udaipur/Rajasthan and final pitches of the Tech4Raj Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program of Startup Oasis.
