Uber offers rides with VCs like Helion, Lightspeed and others to entrepreneurs

New Delhi: Uber on Wednesday tied up with investors such as Helion Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Blume Ventures, Kae Capital and Orios Venture Partners and connected them with aspiring entrepreneurs who have an interesting startup idea, all over a 15-minute cab ride, reports Harsimran Julka. The initiative which took place in Delhi and Pune on Wednesday this week will be extended to Bangalore on Thursday. “#UberPITCH is all about giving entrepreneurs and start-up enthusiasts a platform to pitch their ideas to some of India’s most accomplished investors,” said Karun Arya, spokesperson at Uber India. “If the investors see potential in an idea that’s been pitched over the two days, and find them strong enough to execute, they may choose to take the conversation forward,” he added.
