Swiggy to verify delivery personnel through BetterPlace platform

HYDERABAD: Digital background verification solution provider BetterPlace has partnered with food technology company Swiggy to carry out antecedent verification for its delivery executives. The platform integrates tech-enabled digital verification model and is looking to implement Aadhaar-based mechanisms to enhance the efficiency of its background process.

“Our delivery contractors represent the brand and are a critical touch-point for our customers. Besides introducing number masking, we are leveraging on BetterPlace’s unique verification model and feedback mechanism,” said Nandan Reddy, co-founder of Swiggy.

BetterPlace carries out verification for potential hires and clients apart from training and developing app-based safety features. The company also works with multiple on-demand service providers, logistics and hyperlocal delivery companies as well as security services providers.
