BENGALURU: Bengaluru-based Remedient, which offers to digitise health insurance, is now helping Karnataka and Maharashtra Police departments' employees to easily avail of their health insurances.

The cloud-based company, which collaborates with both hospitals and insurance companies, will now provide its product to the respective police departments to enhance the efficiency of the overall process. Using the platform, one will now need to fill in the details through the app or website while being admitted at a hospital and it will be updated real-time saving precious time. The software will also show the status of the settlements which is displayed in the hospitals and can be checked by patients.

"Usually, when a patient is admitted, the initial paperwork takes almost an hour which using technology can be cut down to 15 minutes. This time is crucial for a patient and just to complete rudimentary processes, the treatment gets delayed," says Munish Daga, CEO, Remedinet Technologies.

The company has also partnered with Tamil Nadu and is rendering services to its police department as well as citizens.
