Personal task management startup Dunzo raises $650K Pre-Series A funding

BENGALURU: Bengaluru-based startup dunzo - an app to get all your daily tasks done has raised a $650K Pre-Series A round of funding from Aspada and Blume Ventures, along with angel investors including Rajan Anandan and Sandipan Chattopadhyay.

The dunzo app, with its full stack approach, leverages both AI and human operators in providing solutions for consumers’ everyday tasks. The app allows users to create a to-do list, collaborate on tasks and get them done by dunzo.

dunzo’s co-founders Ankur Aggarwal, Dalvir Suri, Mukund Jha and Kabeer Biswas came together last year to solve for local discovery and fulfillment problem. “dunzo has scaled rapidly since its launch last year to a monthly run rate of 10,000 ‘moments of consumer delight’,” said the team, in a statement. The services are currently available in Bengaluru.

“Is it a mobile concierge? Is it chat-based commerce? Is it a local merchant discovery and fulfillment mechanism? Is it my handyman on the cloud? Yes, dunzo is all of this in our opinion,” said Karthik Reddy of Blume Ventures.
