PayU hires Ceat executive Prabhakar Tiwari to head marketing

NEW DELHI: PayU has appointed Prabhakar Tiwari as its chief marketing officer, the payment gateway said an internal email to employees.

Tiwari was previously general manager-marketing at tyre company Ceat, where he was in-charge of product, channel and brand teams. He has more than 13 years of experience in areas such as marketing, sales and engineering and held different portfolios in leading consumer goods and durables companies, PayU said.

An alumnus of IIM-Bangalore, Tiwari had started his sales and marketing career with consumer goods company Marico.
