P2P platform Faircent appoints Bejoy Varghese as Chief Technology Officer

Gurgaon-based peer-to-peer lending marketplace Faircent on Friday said it has appointed Bejoy Varghese as Chief Technology Officer as it looks to grow and augment its business by innovating and developing new technology.

According to a statement, Varghese has in his previous avatar has built technology solutions for the complex and fast paced tech environments in banking & financial services. He has worked in leadership roles with companies like CSC, Cognizant, Infosys, Mphasis and Barclays. Within these organizations he has provided technology solutions to international financial institutions/banks like Western Union, JP Morgan Chase and Wachovia (Wells Fargo). He is a domain expert in global payments, investment banking, security services, money transfer and insurance.

In his new role, Varghese will be responsible for providing direction in all technology-related infrastructure, processes and platforms. This focus includes bridging the intellectual property and technical expertise of Faircent to bring process efficiencies.
