NEW DELHI: Noida based firm Agatsa Software has developed a portable ECG monitor called SANKET, that can monitor the heart's condition remotely and provide timely support.

The credit-card sized healthcare is a low power rechargeable device which connects wirelessly and runs on all compatible smartphones. In the event of chest pain, users can record the ECG and share it instantly with a doctor, who in turn can access those reports and provide necessary medical help or advice. The ECG reports are saved in both PDF & image form and easily accessible via cloud.

Developed by Rahul & Neha Rastogi, SANKET promises to be a big help for nuclear families in raising an alarm about the heart health of the parents or their kith & kin. The device also hopes to make it big in rural areas, where the incidence of heart diseases is very high due to lack of proper medical care.
