VuClip ropes in ex-Star India executive as director – research & programming

MUMBAI: Hong Kong-headquartered PCCW-owned VuClip India, the video-on-demand service for the emerging markets, has roped in former Star India executive Sachin Kamble as director – research and programming.

Kamble will report to Vuclip India country head Vishal Maheshwari.

Kamble comes with over 12 years of experience in business strategy and operations with focus on strategy development and execution, research, marketing and branding, post-merger integration, business analytics and negotiations.


In his new role, he will be responsible for designing content filters specific to each market Vuclip caters to. He will also look into increasing consumption of the platform.

At Star India, Kamble was strategy Lead for commercial in his most recent role. He has also led the programming and strategy for the English cluster of Star India in his previous role.

He has also worked with Disney UTV, Turner International India and HT Media in his earlier stints.
