Transit packaging market set to grow by four times: Report
Ecommerce has emerged as a large user of transit which has created a new segment altogether in the larger packaging industry.

The transit packaging market in India is set to grow four times over the next four years from $170 million to $660 million fueled by the growth in online retail, according to a report by financial services company The Avendus Group.
India’s share of the overall parcel shipments worldwide is less than 1% as opposed to the US and China which together account for more than 60% of the parcels shipped, as per Pitney & Bowes Parcel Index, 2016, cited in the report.
