Student housing startup Stanza Living raises Rs 30 crore debt from Alteria Capital
In September last year, the company had raised Rs 73 crore ($10mn) crores from investors led by Sequoia Capital.

"We will be allocating the capital to continue bolstering our network expansion, people and technology capabilities,” said Anindya Dutta, co-founder of Stanza Living, in a statement. The company has 250 employees now.
Dutta also said that the funding would help the company “unlock an inventory of one lakh beds by 2021” and help the company expand across India. The company will have a total inventory of 15000 beds in the next two months in Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Indore, Vadodara and Dehradun, said a spokesperson.
Dutta also said they would also be developing “interesting financing and funding structures relevant to [the] business.”
“Stanza is the type of game changing venture that we love to partner [with]” said Ajay Hattangdi, managing partner, Alteria Capital in a statement.
