Restaurant chain BBK to raise $8 million in Series A funding
BBK has the potential to create a global footprint by positioning biryani as an Indian counterpart to the western burger and pizza.

“BBK has a strategic plan to expand into select international markets like UAE and the UK in the next three-five years, and build a network of over 120 outlets,” the statement said. BBK chief executive Kaushik Roy said: “BBK has the potential to create a global footprint by positioning biryani as an Indian counterpart to the western burger and pizza.”
Earlier in June this year, BBK raised a Pre Series A investment led by CX Partners’ founder Ajay Relan. In the past, it has received funds from investors including Chandigarh Angels Network.
