Refrens bags funds from angel investors

BENGALURU: Refrens, which helps freelancers and small businesses with invoices and payment, has raised funds from a group of angel investors including Paytm’s Vijay Shekhar Sharma and Shaadi.com founder Anupam Mittal.

Early-stage fund Firstcheque, Gireesh Subramaniam of Freshworks, Sujayath Ali and Naveneetha Krishnan, founders of Voonik, Amit Lakhotia of Park+, Zebpay CEO Ajeet Khurana and founders of DailyNinja also participated in the round. Refrens offers invoicing, payments and expense management systems designed for business-to-business service providers including designers, software developers, accountants, marketers and consultants, among others.
