Puneet Agarwal joins Mobikwik as its chief risk officer

BENGALURU: Mobile wallet company Mobikwik has appointed Puneet Agarwal as its chief risk officer to set up and manage the risk management framework of the financial services business at Mobikwik. Agarwal was previously with RBL Bank as its senior vice president managing the risk division for credit cards at the bank.

Agarwal's role at Mobikwik would involve creating lending policies, risk models and portfolio management strategies to help acquire the right set of customers for the Gurugram based startup. He would drive the company's efforts to create lending products in partnership with banks and NBFCs.

Future products from MobiKwik will solve financing issues for the masses, who do not yet have access to easy credit and other services.
