PayU hires a new chief information security officer

He would be responsible for embedding best-in-class security within PayU’s product and technology services, according to a company statement.

NEW DELHI: In a latest addition to the leadership team, online payment solutions provider, PayU has appointed Prakash Padariya as its chief information security officer. Padariya will lead and further strengthen PayU India security team.

He would be responsible for embedding best-in-class security within PayU’s product and technology services, according to a company statement.

Padariya has more than 17 years of experience in core information, cyber-security, and technology. He was previously working at GE India Technology Centre and in the past has also worked with companies like Royal Bank of Scotland, IBM, Target Corporation and Accenture.

We’re excited to have Prakash as a part of our team as we continue to develop a full fintech ecosystem that is highly safe and protected," Anirban Mukherjee, CEO, PayU India said.
