Mobikwik appoints three new business heads to restructure senior leadership

BENGALURU: Digital payments company MobiKwik, has appointed three business heads across various verticals, in line with the ongoing restructuring of the senior leadership team.

Aiming a four-fold growth in the current year Mobikwik has appointed Deepak Batra as Head of Online Business at MobiKwik responsible for working closely with their online partners.

Jalaj Khurana has been appointed as the head for unorganized retail and Chandan Joshi as head of organized retail.


While Batra was with OLX India in his previous stint, Khurana has around 13 years of experience in the sales and marketing business in the FMCG industry. Joshi, on the other hand has been a financial trader with Credit Suisse in London and Hong Kong.

“MobiKwik is evolving to become India’s largest digital financial services platform. We are in the process of rejigging so as to address the current and future business requirements. The hiring of the three business heads is in line with our business strategy,” said Upasana Taku, cofounder at Mobikwik.
