MindTickle raises Rs 174-crore in Series B funding
BENGALURU: Sales enablement company MindTickle has raised $27 million (about Rs 174 crore) in series-B funding led by Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm Canaan Partners, with participation from existing investors Accel Partners, New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Qualcomm Ventures. The company said it will use the funds to accelerate product innovation and global expansion.

MindTickle has raised $41.3 million till date. San Francisco and Pune-based MindTickle, which is also backed by top Silicon Valley entrepreneurs like Jyoti Bansal, offers a data-driven sales readiness platform for onboarding, micro-learning, skills development and coaching. The company is working on expanding its platform capabilities to bring in more automation and machine learning-based feedback.

“For example, if you are doing role-plays, can the machine give feedback. We are going from a basic level to a data-driven and machine learning (ML) way of running systems,” said Krishna Depura, CEO of Mind-Tickle.

A wide range of industries use MindTickle's platform to train, coach and align their sales teams to make sales representatives and their managers more effective. The platform combines on-demand online training, bite-sized mobile updates, gamification, coaching and role-play with a data-driven approach. Companies are also leveraging MindTickle to assess and certify the readiness of each sales representative.
