Micro delivery app OwO raises Rs 5 crore

NEW DELHI: Subscription-based micro-delivery app OwO, dealing in essential goods deliveries starting with packaged water, said it has raised funding on Rs 5 crore to set up operations across Gurugram with plans to expand to Delhi, followed by Mumbai, Hyderabad and other cites within 2020-21.

The startup said it has onboarded Bisleri, Kinley, Aquafina and Divyajal among others and scale the platform to flavoured waters subsequently, OwO Technologies chief executive Ajay Channgani said.

He said the delivery model will be focused on both businesses as well as households. “We have set up thorough processes such as temperature-controlled warehouses every 15 km in the city to help in smoother operations. The price-value equation has been taken care of as well,” Channgani said.
