Meru appoints Sandeep Dongre as COO

MUMBAI: Meru Mobility Tech, India’s pioneer mobility service provider in which Mahindra & Mahindra now holds a majority stake, announced the appointment of Sandeep Dongre as their COO . Dongre will lead MERU’s Sales and Business Operations pan India with immediate effect.

A chemical engineer and an MBA in Marketing from IIM-Bangalore, Dongre joins MERU after working with many organizations such as Future Group, OYO, Lava International, Brighter India Foundation, Tata Tele Services, Coca Cola India, Frito Lays India and BPL .

In his current role, Dongre will be responsible for the revenue and growth of MERU’s business to business (B2B) corporate travel segment and also enhance on-ground consumer experience. With his ability to understand the evolving needs of an Indian customer, MERU hopes to achieve great heights in the shared mobility sector for both its corporate and business to customer (B2C) segment.
