BENGALURU: Online funding platform for startups, LetsVenture, is launching a specialised healthcare investment programme called Healthcare Council, which aims to invest Rs 3-5 crore each in about 15-20 startups over the next one year, focusing on healthcare at the seed and pre-Series-A stages.

Healthcare Council will have industry experts — from hospitals, insurance providers, pharmaceutical firms, angels and venture capitalists — providing market access and mentorship to young companies. Further, it aims to set up a community that facilitates knowledge exchange and helps members to connect and exchange ideas.

LetsVenture has already onboarded former entrepreneurs and angel investors Raghavendra Prasad, the founder of doctor appointment scheduling app Qikwell, and Paddy Padmanabhan, the founder of Damo Consulting.

“We realised over time that some sectors needed a deeper touch point — for founders and investors. Sector-based verticals on the platform have been envisioned almost like a special interest group offering discussions for the community around new trends, customer connects and funding,” said Shanti Mohan, CEO of LetsVenture.
