PUNE: Cloud-telephony firm Knowlarity has appointed former Tata Teleservices executive Yatish Mehrotra as the CEO. Mehrotra was earlier business head - consumer business at Tata Teleservices, before which he was with Airtel.

Mehrotra told ET that cloud telephony was poised to get bigger and that it was exciting to be a part of one of the biggest companies in this space.

“In barely a decade since its launch, Knowlarity has established a pioneering market presence, not only in India but also in various emerging markets across Southeast Asia and the Middle East,” Mehrotra said.

Set up in 2009, Knowlarity is among the leading firms providing cloud-based communications solutions to businesses in the emerging markets, with a presence in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, besides India.
