Kalaari hires KPMG executive as partner

The appointment comes after the departure of at least three partners from the company in the past one year.

Kalaari is in the process of raising its fourth fund, which is expected to be closed by early next year.
BENGALURU: VC firm Kalaari Capital has roped in KPMG India executive Sreedhar Prasad as partner, according to people familiar with the development.

The appointment comes after the departure of at least three partners from the company in the past one year. Before joining Kalaari, Prasad was partner at the consultancy firm. He declined to comment on ET’s query regarding the appointment.

An email query sent to Kalaari MD Vani Kola remained unanswered till the time of going to press. Kalaari is in the process of raising its fourth fund, which is expected to be closed by early next year. The VC firm had raised about $215 million as part of its third fund in 2015.
