Higher education programme provider iNurture raises series-C round from Ventureast, others

The Bengaluru-based company plans to use the funds to expand its elearning platform for skill centres and distance learning, and to expand its managed campuses business.

BENGALURU: iNurture, a higher education programme provider, has raised Rs 28 crore in its series-C funding round from investors led by Ventureast and with participation from existing investors, Bertelsmann India Investments and Ascent Capital. The Bengaluru-based company plans to use the funds to expand its elearning platform for skill centres and distance learning, and to expand its managed campuses business.

"We want to strengthen our core business… the undergrad, postgrad offerings we have with our present partners. We want to introduce a few more areas in our flagship business,” said managing director Ashwin Ajila. “We have already invested a bit into building our elearning platform. We will use part of the funds to launch more programmes at partner campuses. We also want to launch and scale-up international partnerships," he said.

The company offers aselection of industry-relevant courses, in association with colleges across India.
