Health-tech startup Arvi launches at-home medical alert system for senior citizens

Arvi, a healthtech firm, recently launched a smart medical alert system for senior citizens in India. The smart medical alert system offers emergency and non- emergency medical assistance with doorstep convenience for senior citizens. It aims to make healthcare easy, instant and accessible for senior citizens. It is currently offering its services in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Conceptualized by IIT Bombay alumni, Sushant Reddy and Avinash Lavangal in July 2019, Arvi aims to become the most trusted healthy-living brand for senior citizens in India.

Medical assistance at a push of a button
Arvi installs a smart medical alert system with ‘push buttons’ at all critical locations of the house. When a senior citizen pushes a button during an emergency, a smart hub automatically triggers phone and SMS alerts to relatives and neighbors. Additionally, the Arvi support team dispatches an emergency ambulance and arranges a hotline between senior citizens and an emergency doctor. Arvi support team also provides assistance in non-emergency scenarios such as scheduling medicines delivery, doctor-on-call appointments, health checkups at home, etc.

The firm has a dedicated team of technical, operations, marketing resources and a dedicated panel of doctors. Eminent alliance partners such as Thyrocare and 1mg have helped Arvi offer diagnostic checkups and pharmacy delivery services respectively. It is also partnering with major hospital chains in South India.
