Health-tech startup Arvi launches at-home medical alert system for senior citizens
Arvi installs a smart medical alert system with ‘push buttons’ at all critical locations of the house.

Today, millions of Indians leave their parents in search of better opportunities and career prospects. There is always fear and insecurity when it comes to managing the healthcare of parents back home. Arvi offers fast, reliable and quality medical assistance 24/7 to senior citizens right at their doorstep.
Conceptualized by IIT Bombay alumni, Sushant Reddy and Avinash Lavangal in July 2019, Arvi aims to become the most trusted healthy-living brand for senior citizens in India.
Sushant Reddy, Co-Founder, Arvi, said in a statement, “Senior care in India is highly fragmented and adoption of technology is pretty low. We want to leverage technology to bring fast, easy-to-use and reliable healthcare solutions for senior citizens.”
Medical assistance at a push of a button
Arvi installs a smart medical alert system with ‘push buttons’ at all critical locations of the house. When a senior citizen pushes a button during an emergency, a smart hub automatically triggers phone and SMS alerts to relatives and neighbors. Additionally, the Arvi support team dispatches an emergency ambulance and arranges a hotline between senior citizens and an emergency doctor. Arvi support team also provides assistance in non-emergency scenarios such as scheduling medicines delivery, doctor-on-call appointments, health checkups at home, etc.
