Go-Ventures adds $5 million to Rebel Food

In March, the company raised around Rs 110 crore as part of its Series-D1 round from existing investors Sequoia Capital India, Lightbox Ventures and Evolvence India.

Mumbai: Go-Ventures, the investment arm of Indonesian ride-hailing firm Go-Jek, has invested $5 million (Rs 34 crore) in Rebel Food’s ongoing Series-D round, regulatory filings show.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs filing sourced through company research platform Tofler said the company has raised 667 Series-D2 Compulsorily Convertible Cumulative Preference Shares (CCCPS) of face value Rs 1,000 with a premium of Rs 4,51,287.21 per share, and 100 equity shares of face value ₹10 with a premium of ₹4,52,277.21 apiece from GV Bites. The amount adds up to Rs 34,69,04,293.
