BENGALURU: New-Delhi based Smartivity Labs, an edtech toys design startup, has raised $2 million (approx Rs 13.5 crore) from Ashish Kacholia, a well-known stock market investor, along with participation from existing investors S Chand Group and others.

“We closed 2017-18 at Rs 10.2 crore. It has been a around 2.5x to 3x growth year-on-year. This year we are projecting around Rs 24 crore. We are also on the verge of finalising newer markets like Japan, China, Russia and Western Europe,” said Tushar A Amin, cofounder at Smartivity Labs.
