Druva to take headcount up to 1000 in India; may consider IPO

The Silicon Valley headquartered firm today launched its new facility in Pune, which would serve as an innovation center for the firm. The aim is to expand India operations to a 1000 employees over the next two years. Currently Druva has a team of 375 people in Pune across different functions.
Mahesh Patel, CFO, Druva, said that the business was growing at about 60% and was on track to do a recurring revenue of $100mn at the end of this fiscal. “We have four products, the slowest of which is growing at 50%, and on a blended basis we’re growing at 60%,” he said.
Druva, which offers data management as a service is primarily focused on the North American market, which contributes 72% to its revenue. The balance is spread over Europe and Asia.
