DIPP to organise Startup Karnataka Yatra

The program involves a two day acceleration program at a suitable incubator for ideas/startups shortlisted from the bootcamps.

BENGALURU: The IT/BT department in Karnataka in association with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) is organizing a Startup Karnataka Yatra, as part of the latter’s Startup India Yatra program. As of now, 419 districts spread over 28 states and 6 Union Territories have registered for the program, and 44% of the startups are from Tier II and Tier III cities.

The program involves a two day acceleration program at a suitable incubator for ideas/startups shortlisted from the bootcamps. Pitching sessions for incubation of the winners from the ideas/startups shortlisted from the bootcamps are also conducted. The acceleration program and grand finale of the Startup Karnataka Yatra is scheduled for Dec 17 and Dec 18, according to an official press release.
