Cyient’s COO sees a phased recovery after Covid-19 pandemic

​​The engineering and technology services provider’s consolidated net profit fell 73% in the quarter ended March 31 to 46.2 crore, as the outbreak-led slowdown hit many business areas, the company said.

MUMBAI: Cyient, which gets a significant chunk of its revenue from sectors like aerospace, defence and transportation, is eyeing a phased recovery following sustained business impact due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

As global travel restrictions hurt its core verticals, the company is not only looking at a “revival but also a reset”, newly-appointed chief operating officer Karthikeyan Natarajan said.
